Welcome

Nottingham Radio Control Society is a club dedicated to the building and flying of radio controlled model aircraft. We are an affiliated club of the British Model Flying Association, (BMFA) and our flying site is at the southern end of Langar airfield on the Notts and Leics border. The club has been flying at Langar since 1967 but model flying has taken place here since just after WWII. Check out the club and airfields history. HERE

CLUB COMPETITION RESULTS

AEROBATIC COMPETITION RESULTS

The results of the Aerobatic Competition were as follows; 1st George Bradley, 2nd Barry White, 3rd Glenn Masters.

WARBIRDS FLY-IN

Warbirds Fly-in takes place on 20th/21st AUGUST. BBMF Flypast should take place on the Saturday, weather and availability permitting.

JET FLYING SUSPENDED

DUE TO THE STATE OF THE CROPS ALONGSIDE THE RUNWAY, JET FLYING IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED.

Crop Has Been Harvested! Jets Given The All Clear!

The crop has been collected, meaning jet/turbine powered models are given the 'all clear' to fly down the airfield.

Jet Flying Temporarily Suspended At Langar

UNFORTUNATLY, JET MODELS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED AT LANGAR DUE TO THE CROP BEING TOO WET TO HARVEST.

AS A RESULT, JET MODELS CANNOT BE FLOWN AT THIS WEEKENDS WARBIRDS EVENT.

Calender Dates Change, Reports & Scorings Added!

There has been a slight alteration to Taxi & Fly Event held later this month. New dates are as follows:
